My experience was

As a ninth and final post, it's my turn to talk about my experience posting on this blog.

I will admit that at first I was a little reluctant to the idea of making a blog, I was not very attention-friendly the idea, besides that I was a little embarrassed to do this, although now that I think it is equal to any other social network like Instagram.

The idea of posting and writing, especially in English, was not very comfortable for me hahaha but in the same way I feel that I started to accommodate the idea and it became easier (and I missed this shame to post).

Academically, I think it's a good tool, especially in this pandemic situation that has us well removed from each other. It allows us to approach our peers and teachers and, in a virtual way, meet and interact, perhaps not as we would have expected, but it was done as best we could.

Finally I just want to say that I would have liked to be able to interact with my classmates and the teacher beyond a screen, but still enjoy seeing them every class <3 I hope their families are ok and that we can soon go out and breathe.

A hug everyone!!

A subject I love

Within this strange year online, one of the classes that has comforted me fed up is the Complementary Textile Workshop, although it is a few hours a day I give enough affection to the jobs that must be done, I like the new look that the teachers have given me, but I still feel that I do not give 100%, it makes me very strange and difficult to do the work , send them and that the review is through a photograph you lose a lot of feedback in the delivery of the projects.

Trat class I have enjoyed is Drawing, I have improved a lot over the years and it makes me happy to see my progress process. Likewise this year's learning process has been more complex as this class requires being face to face to get the most out of it.

I feel that if I hadn't COVID I could have learned a lot more.

Recommended website

Within the last few years I have used the Pinterest app or website a lot.

I really like to visit it, because here I find a great variety of things, images, drawings, paintings, photographs, fabrics, animals that help me to inspire me and make my own productions or just to look at them because they are very beautiful.

One of the best things you can do if you have a Pinterest account is to make folders and folders, to organize the images you like and keep them in your own order, this is too wonderful for a person with touch haaha I love this modality because it allows you to organize the ideas and for example in my case do not mix fabric references with those of architecture with those of architecture.

I really enjoy using this app or website, it is easy for time to fly when I am on it haha I can spend a lot of time still looking and selecting images.
The Cat and Lavender, another card for Woodland Wardens, my flora and fauna themed oracle deck! My show at Gallery 205 in Columbia, TN opens Friday the 13th, and the original graphite drawings, plus large prints of the first few cards, will be on...I recommend it to everyone as it has a great variety of images for all tastes❤

Feijoada

Feijoada is a typical dish of Brazil, although there are many similar dishes distributed throughout Central America, such as the "Arroz congris" in Cuba, all have the same base ingredients, rice and black beans.

The preparation of this dish is not so complex,
The rice is prepared until it is peeled, but not so much.
In another pot we have the black beans (previously soaked) cooking in boiling water until soft.
At this point we separate 1/3 of these beans and take them to another pot or pan, and sauté them with whatever you want, originally meat is poured but I replace them with mushrooms cut small and sautéed separately. After mixing, grind the beans with the mushrooms until there is a paste not so watery (I hope not do it with a minipimer).
Finally, we re-gather the beans and mix.
To serve, we take a plate and serve half the rice and the other half of beans (not on top, the idea is that one mixes the flavors while eating).
As final detail, we cut 1/3 orange and leave it on the plate. As this is a very heavy dish, it is suggested if one is very satisfied, rest for a moment and eat the orange wedge, as it opens the appetite and allows you to continue eating. If he's fat.

well that's the dish I leave you today :)

My favorite picture❤

This picture is one of my favorite in this year.

In the contexts of quarantine, whit my friends we organize a costume party to celebrated a birthdays of one of my friends. The picture was taken by the birthday gril amid the laughter and  the emotion of surprice, she wasn't expecting us all to show up in costume.

As we were all tired of this quarantine and losing birthdays, we decided to make this costume party with a cartoon theme. I love it because here our nerdy side comes out (which is what unites us) mainly appearing anime costumes ❤

I love these guys very much, even through a screen, I appreciate being able to share laughs with them. I miss them so much💓

My favorite movie

Talking about favorite movies is complex, but this time I will talk about "The tale of  the Princess Kaguya" by Japanese director Isao Takahata. What I like a lot about this film is the animation with which it casts, it is as if the whole film is going inside a watercolor, does not focus on filling the image with information, let the blanks fill with the delicacy of the stroke and that subtlety, in my opinion, makes it extremely pleasant and wonderful.

Another aspect that this film has is the music, composed by Joe Hisaishi, he manages to transfer the finesse of the stroke to the music and makes a perfect complement. This composer also musicalizes another of my favorite films, also of Japanese animation, "Howl's moving Castle" by Hayao Miyazaki, and just to say that, in this film for me, the musical composition is worthy of recognition because it is really wonderful and mind-blowing. I highly recommend seeing and listening to your work.

A technological apparatus

I'm going to talk about the vibrator. This was invented around 1880, to treat what was then known as the "female hysteria", but since the twentieth century it began to become more visible its use towards pleasure (always from a sexist gaze) but, still, this object or all female sexuality itself, remains a taboo that gradually mowed down.

I find that, although this object was originally created for other purposes, today it is a tool of power and self-knowledge, perhaps not primordial, but very useful used by many women (and men) not only in masturbation. Also, say that there are many shapes and sizes for all of us to enjoy. Discovering pleasure and what makes us feel good is necessary to have a good sexuality, we must set aside prejudices and meet our bodies :)
